Imagine if: All humanity was but one soul

Everyone you ever met would have your soul, your spirit. Everyone who has ever lived, or will ever live, was and will be a metaphysical you. Think about it, all of history would be you interacting with yourself on every level. You would be responsible for all past atrocities; all glorious victories; all redeeming moments. Every murderer is you. Every lover is you. Every shopkeeper is you. Every baby is you. Every stranger is you. All of humanity is but one soul; a soul that has been in every past life, is in all current lives, and will be in all future lives. You are both the asshole and the guru, the scum and the friendly. But so am I.
